Fruity Chocolate NutriStart Bar

Ideal for lunchbox, healthy protein packed bar. These bars are made of nuts, dried fruit, NutriStart and if you can’t resist a little bit of dark chocolate bits.



  • 1½ cup NutriStart Original Crunch
  • 1/3 cup NutriStart Original Smooth
  • 1 Cup Pecan Nuts lightly toasted
  • ½ Cup Cranberries
  • 8 Large Dates, pips removed
  • 1tbsp  Honey
  • 5tbsp Water
  • 1/3 cup Chocolate Chips


  • Place NutriStart, Pecan’s, cranberry, dates in a food processor and process until well ground.
  • Pulse in honey and three tablespoons of water.  You want the mixture to form into a ball.  If not after the three tablespoons of water add in additional water and process until the mixture begins to form a ball.  Remove from the food processor, stir in the chocolate chips, then press into a flat baking dish.
  • Place bars in refrigerator for an hour.  Then slice bars and serve.  Bars are best kept in refrigerator.  Bars can be wrapped individually and place into an airtight container in the freezer.
